Safia Mahabub Sauty is currently a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Guelph, Canada. She completed her Bachelors in Microbiology at the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh, and commenced her Ph.D. studies in Molecular and Cellular Biology. Her research uses molecular techniques to investigate epigenetic regulation of gene expression in eukaryotic cells. She passionately advocates for equity, diversity, and inclusion in science. She loves to read and forward knowledge through teaching and writing.
