As a child Wiebke dreamed of becoming an explorer, who would describe uncharted territories. Many years later she came across the wonderful world of molecular biology and she learned that you don’t have to travel to distant shores to discover the unknown. After a master in genetics, she is currently pursuing her PhD while trying to map out new regulatory pathways in cancer cells.
