Simple Procedure
The PAXgene Blood ccfDNA Tube (RUO) allows efficient blood collection using a closed, evacuated plastic device containing a proprietary ccfDNA stabilization additive.
Using standard venipuncture techniques, 10 mL of whole blood is collected into the tube containing 1.5 mL of the stabilization additive.
Post-collection, the sample can be stored at room temperature for up to 10 days before processing.
Following centrifugation, ccfDNA is isolated from plasma using automated or manual methods based on magnetic-bead or silica-membrane technologies from QIAGEN.
