Your landing page is live! Here’s how to maximise your webinar impact

Your session will be promoted to our research community, and we’ve also put together a few simple ways for you to share it with your own network.

Mentors who actively share their sessions typically see higher live attendance, stronger engagement, and more valuable follow-up conversations.

Two Simple ways to boost your reach

Sharing your webinar with your own network is one of the most effective ways to ensure it reaches the right audience.

Even a single post can:

  • Increase live attendance
  • Reach researchers closely aligned to your topic
  • Strengthen your visibility and reputation as a mentor

We’ve made this as quick and easy as possible. You can use the resources below as-is or adapt them in your own voice.

1. Sharing on social media

If you’re active on social media, a single post can make a meaningful difference to who attends your session.

To help, we’ve created:

  • Customisable Canva image templates (access those here)
  • Ready-to-use post examples you can quickly adapt (see below)

2. Sharing with your lab, department, or collaborators

Direct sharing with colleagues, lab members, and collaborators is one of the most effective ways to bring in highly relevant, engaged attendees. Many mentors use this approach to ensure their session reaches the researchers who will benefit most.

You can share your webinar with:

  • Your lab group
  • Your department or research network
  • Collaborators working in related areas

We’ve included simple email templates below to make this quick to do.

FAQs

We strongly encourage all mentors to share their webinar at least once with their network. We’ll promote your session to the Bitesize Bio audience regardless, but mentors who share their webinar typically see higher attendance and more engaged discussions.

You don’t need to do much! One social post or a single email to your network can make a meaningful difference

LinkedIn and Twitter/X/BlueSky tend to work particularly well for research-focused webinars, but you’re free to share wherever you’re most comfortable.

Absolutely. Please adapt the wording, images, or tone so it feels natural to you.

No problem. Many mentors simply share their webinar via email with their lab, department, or collaborators and often see excellent engagement from this.

We take care of:

  • Creating and hosting the webinar landing page
  • Promoting the session via our newsletters and other marketing channels
  • Managing registrations and attendee communications
  • Creating the SEO/GEO article to promote your on-demand webinar

Your network includes researchers who already know your work and are more likely to attend, engage, and benefit from your session. A small amount of sharing helps ensure your webinar reaches the most relevant audience
