Nikunj Sharma

I hold a Ph.D. in Cell and Molecular Biology from the University of Quebec, where I led an international research collaboration focused on gene expression and regulatory mechanisms. My research work involved coordinating cross-functional teams across Canada, Spain and France, giving me a strong foundation in project leadership, scientific communication, and compliance in regulated environments. Currently, I work as a Business Analyst on a medical AI product. In this role, I lead stakeholder interviews, requirement gathering, and sprint planning, while supporting the development of healthcare AI workflows. My work as a business analyst lies in healthcare data operations, AI implementation, and cloud systems (AWS certified). I am experienced in Agile project management and tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Lucidchart. I’m passionate about bridging scientific rigour with operational excellence to drive impactful, patient-centred innovation in healthcare.
