Sushma Nandyala

AIIMS, New delhi
I am a PhD Scholar in Ophthalmology at Dr. Rajendra Prasad Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences, AIIMS New Delhi, currently in the final phase of my doctoral training. My research focuses on infectious keratitis and advanced corneal therapies. I completed my integrated master’s degree in Optometry and Vision Sciences from the University of Hyderabad, where I was awarded a gold medal. My areas of expertise include corneal infections, corneal collagen cross-linking, anterior segment disorders, and the optics of the crystalline lens. I have authored over 15+ indexed scientific publications and presented my work at more than 20 national and international conferences, receiving multiple awards and travel fellowships. In addition to research, I serve as a peer reviewer for indexed journals and work as an Associate Editor. I have experience in clinical research, data analysis, and scientific writing, with a strong interest in translational ophthalmology and evidence-based practice.
