Cecilia Grimaldi

Imperial College London
Cecilia received her PhD in Cell and Developmental Biology at the University of Münster, Germany, where she studied the mechanisms controlling single-cell migration in zebrafish. While still working at the bench, she developed a passion for science writing and went on to pursue a Master’s in Science Communication at Imperial College London. She currently works as a freelance writer and blogger for different science-related platforms. All things science enthusiast, she exceptionally enjoys reaching out to the lay public, as she believes each curious Homo sapiens is a potential scientist after all.
