Sebastian Haensch (Center for Advanced Imaging at the Heinrich Heine-University in Düsseldorf, Germany) studied biology at the Heinrich-Heine University of Düsseldorf. He finished his PhD in pathogen cell biology at the institute of Functional Genome Research of Microorganisms Duesseldorf under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Johannes Hegemann in 2016. At the moment he is working as a staff scientist at the Center for Advanced Imaging at Duesseldorf university. His focus is super-resolution microscopy and image analysis.
