Khushbu Patel is currently working on image analysis of single cells to study phenotypic heterogeneity in density dependent signaling. She is a Bioinformatics Master’s student from Georgia Institute of Technology and has an undergraduate degree in Microbiology. Microbiology has always been her passion and the idea of computationally analyzing biological data fascinated her. Bioinformatics was where these fields converged. Her research interests include Evolutionary Microbiology, Metagenomics and Immunology. In her free time she likes to read, watch movies and paint.
