Kenneth Childers

Greetings! I’m a 4th year graduate student at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County in the chemistry where I work with protein purification to be used for x-ray diffraction (visit our lab website for more info: https://sites.google.com/a/umbc.edu/garcinlab/home). Aside from spending an ungodly amount of time in the lab, I’m a TA for an undergraduate biochemistry lab course where grading has become as natural as breathing to me. I decided to write for BiteSizeBio to 1) spread the good word of graduate schoole in the life sciences and 2) give myself more experience with writing to (hopefully) improve my writing skills. I appreciate any feedback people may have!
