I studied Medical and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology (BSc) at the University of Applied Sciences Krems (Krems an der Donau, Austria). In 2012, I worked on developing CDK9 inhibitors as therapeutics for cardiac hypertrophy at the Center for Molecular and Cellular Biosensor Research at the University of Abertay Dundee (Dundee, Scotland, UK). In addition to drug discovery and development, I also have experience in scientific publishing as an assistant editor for BioDiscovery – the first open-access journal in the field of life sciences and medicine published in Scotland. My research interests include areas such as molecular biology, pharmacology and toxicology.
