These carefully designed cabinets provide superior personnel, product and environmental protection through the implementation of unique technologies that create a very safe and comfortable working environment. The SmartFlow™ and Digital Airflow Verification (DAVe) systems ensure continually optimized airflow parameters, and the brushless DC motor and Night-set-back mode provide excellent energy efficiency. The Herasafe® KS and Herasafe KSP are ideal for use in research laboratories, pharmacies, clinics and hospitals. They are compliant with the most stringent regulatory standards in the world and independently tested and certified to NSF/ANSI 49, EN12469 (Herasafe KS) and DIN 12980 (Herasafe KSP).

The best-in-class containment guarantees a filtration efficiency of 99.995 percent at the most penetrating particle size (MPPS). The advanced Herasafe KSP offers an additional filter system below the work area providing 100,000 times higher filtration efficiency than standard Class II cabinets, making it ideal for handling cytotoxic substances and hazardous drugs. Angled at an optimal 10 degrees, the fully motorized sash provides a clear view of the line-of-sight display within the chamber. These advanced features, coupled with the hand-held control and broad selection of options, provides excellent flexibility and ensures compliance with the Americans Disabilities Act (ADA) for users with mobility, sight and hearing impairments.
